Fat Chance 04:51PM, Dec 18 2011 I thought I had my mind made up, but this color just knocks me over! Kitchen cabinets are Cherry Alder, black drop-in sink, all black appliances, and black gas cooktop drop-in on kitchen island. Kitchen floor is soft grey 12 x 12 ceramic tile. Backsplash is same soft grey 12 x 12 ceramic set at 90 degrees with dark forest green marble insets 4 x 4 set at 45 degrees (diagonal set) to look like diamonds. Green marble insets on backsplash tie in with same green marble in extended entryway and green marble surrounding fireplace. Kitchen and family room are very open space, so this works well. Family room has African Cherry Hardwood floors. I was set on Verde Butterfly or Green Gold . I really need to tie the soft grey backsplash in, because I don't want to lose those dark green marble insets. Also, since we have to replace the kitchen faucet, we were looking at oil rubbed bronze and polished bronze. What would best compliment the black sink and cherry cabinetry? Suggestions? One other important factor is that our kitchen is elongated and we have Xenon undercabinet lighting, which is absolutely gorgeous and will play on the granite countertop. Many thanks.
