  • Marble.com - Derek 01:57PM, Oct 20 2011 As Kinga explained below, the pricing of the stone is determined by the rarity of the stone, not quality. All of our colors are premium quality slabs, vigorously inspected to be free of any defects, discolorations, cracks, or scratches.
  • Marble.com - Kinga 01:12PM, Oct 20 2011 Because each of our locations carries hundreds of colors, we created a system of pricing our stones. Each stone in our yards falls into a specific price category called “Single Blue”, “Double Blue” and so on. The prices are based solely on supply and demand- not quality or color. When you visit a yard nearest you, one of our experienced salesmen will be able to walk with you around our yard and inform you what price group a stone you are viewing falls into. Please note we also have categories called “Double Silver” and “Single Gold” which can be obtained when visiting one of our locations. However, each super premium stone (“Double Gold” and up) has separate pricing due to the rarity, low supply and very high demand of each specific stone. When visiting us, make sure to bring your cabinet door, tile and any other design element you will incorporate into your design to help you find the perfect stone for your project. Hope this helps!
  • Anne Badalato 07:10PM, Oct 19 2011 What do the designations "singl blue", "double blue" and "single silver" mean? I see different price quotes with the single silver being the most expensive, but the granite colors don't seem to be divided into different groups. Please explain.
    Thanks,
    anne
