COMMENTS:
I think the stone would look lovely with dark walnut as well as dark cherry cabinets. On the lighter side, an off-white or cream cabinets with a chocolate glaze would look stunning. Since the stone is so beautiful and such a statement-maker, you want to keep the backsplash light and neutral like a tumbled travertine or marble. Use the same, simple pattern throughout the kitchen so the eye can completely focus on the stone.
