  • Shaniqua 04:42AM, Nov 1 2013

I would love to use this beautiful stone. Where in ny/ct can I purchase this unique piece. Also do you think black cabinets would compliment this type of granite .

  • Marble.com - Derek 04:53PM, Feb 12 2013

Just to clarify for Vicki: we do not sell our granite per slab, we are a countertop fabricator and installer.

  • Marble.com - Adrian 05:10PM, Feb 11 2013

Hi Vicky. We have Van Gogh in Ridgefield Park location, please find the address below:
     http://www.marble.com/location... .

  • Vicki Moses 08:52PM, Feb 5 2013

do you have a slab of Van Gogh in stock?

  • Marble.com - Natalia 01:53PM, Oct 1 2012

For pricing on the Van Gogh, please contact the Ridgefield Park, NJ sales office with the actual measurements that you require for the project: http://www.marble.com/location... The Van Gogh should be able to be used for an outdoor application as it's a granite, but this stone may acquire some damage over time because of the weather elements over the long run that are outside. You will also have to reseal the countertops to keep them stain resistant.

  • Lori Iwan 07:08PM, Sep 28 2012

What is the price per square foot for van gogh?  Do you recommend this color for a granite top to an outdoor kitchen where people will sit to eat or drink? The counter below it is stainless steel.

  • Marble.com - Derek 01:58PM, Jul 26 2012

    Me too! :-)

  • Krnmhln1127 01:17AM, Jul 22 2012

Sure would love to see a picture of your kitchen!

  • Marble.com - Derek 09:46PM, Mar 22 2012

Thank you for your insight on the decorative aspects of using the beautiful Van Gogh! It sounds like your kitchen looks absolutely stunning.

  • barbi 02:14AM, Mar 19 2012

I have a large island made of Van Gogh in my kitchen. I painted the surrounding walls  in teal and have lighter maple cabinets and dark cherry floor. It looks fabulous. Every person entering the kitchen for the first time is in awe of this beautiful granite. I feel the best colors for walls are from light aqua to a blue-teal or a burgandy-red or possibly a gold. Drab, neutral colors are not as nice.  It's good to pull one of the colors out of the granite to make it pop and make it the showpiece.

  • Marble.com - Derek 08:35PM, Sep 28 2011 It's a super premium stone and individually priced. For pricing, please contact our sales office so we can give you an estimate.
  • Joro2086 03:16AM, Sep 28 2011 Is this stone a double gold or one of the individually priced stones?
  • Marble.com - Derek 02:03PM, Sep 16 2011 Van Gogh is a durable and premium stone, with proper sealing it's very suitable for your application, go for it!
  • Mick 04:20PM, Sep 15 2011 I Have a corner shower that would like to use this granite in my shower stall. we also live in an area with hard water. would this granite be suitable for this use
  • Marble.com - Derek 07:15PM, Jul 8 2011 I agree with Kinga that a stark white cabinet color or an elegant espresso color would be more appropriate cabinet options for the famous and stunningly beautiful Van Gogh stone.
  • Marble.com - Kinga 06:49PM, Jul 7 2011 I feel this stone needs a plain, either very light or very dark cabinet color to make the wonderful and rich colors of the stone pop and indulge the room. Introducing more color to the space like your sea green cabinets may clash with the stone itself and the space may start to feel overwhelmingly busy. However, if you’re serious about using this stone I would strongly recommend you see the slab in person with a cabinet sample and get an estimate to determine if this granite is for you. This stone is so rare and unique, any space that features it will be truly unique.  Also, consider painting your cabinets white to completely showcase the stone. Hope this helps!
  • Ryclan4 02:38PM, Jul 7 2011 I have light sea green cabinets.  Would this color work for the top and backsplash ?
  • Marble.com - Derek 12:48PM, Jun 22 2011 The Van Gogh is one of our most unique and beautiful stones and would compliment a darker cabinet color very nicely. For backsplash, a calm and simple ceramic tile or subway tile can be used, as well as tumbled natural stones. If you're considering using the Van Gogh, I strongly recommend to look at the slabs in-person and bring a sample of the cabinet you're going to use so you can put it against the slab.
  • Marble.com - Kinga 02:45PM, Jun 21 2011 Albertls1,

I think the stone would look lovely with dark walnut as well as dark cherry cabinets. On the lighter side, an off-white or cream cabinets with a chocolate glaze would look stunning. Since the stone is so beautiful and such a statement-maker, you want to keep the backsplash light and neutral like a tumbled travertine or marble. Use the same, simple pattern throughout the kitchen so the eye can completely focus on the stone.
  • Albertls1 02:09AM, Jun 21 2011 Would this granite go with dark colored cabinets, such as dark walnut? What other cabinet colors would be good choices? Also, need some help with backsplash choices.
    Thanks

    • All Granite and Marble 08:30AM, Oct 13 2010 Suzanna Weingarten: The Van Gogh is a premium and exclusive stone, for pricing on this material please contact our sales office.
  • annemarie 09:40AM, Jul 5 2010 Someone on the garden web has this stone as a blacksplash and it is truly stunning but she has bright blue speckled countertops which is too much for me. Can you suggest a complementary granite for the countertops - we will have white cabinets and I was thinking of a darker countertop to add some warmth. I notice most of your pics of white cabinets have light counter stone.
    • All Granite and Marble 10:43AM, Jul 5 2010 Annemarie: Perhaps a stone like Arctic Blue, Silver Pearl, or Volga Blue would add the depth and richness you're looking for in the design. The Van Gogh is a gorgeous stone and will look beautiful as a backsplash, it will bring your kitchen to life.
