  • Marble.com - Kinga 12:21PM, Jan 9 2012 Unfortunately, we do not have any information on the backsplash used, just the stone itself. It seems like it may be a porcelain subway tile. Hope this helps!
  • Jan 11:11PM, Jan 7 2012 I am considering the Vyara with quartsawn white oak cabinets stained medium brown. What specifically is the backsplash tile in the background?
  • Marble.com - Derek 08:17PM, Nov 17 2011 Make sure you look at the slabs in-person, the Vyara Gold varies quite greatly between each delivery. The gray highlights in this granite compliment your cherry cabinets nicely, and the garnet colored flecks in the stone pick up your cabinet color. I think you will be okay, go for it!
  • Marble.com - Derek 08:15PM, Nov 17 2011 Deb wrote her message over three years ago so she may not respond. In my opinion, I feel that Vyara Gold looks very sharp against cherry cabinetry and compliments the set-up nicely. Hope this helps.
  • Barb 02:18AM, Nov 15 2011 I am worried that my cherry cabinets might clash with the beige tones that sometimes look peahcy in vyara gold. Should I worry? The other parts of the granite look great with my cabinet sample.  Barb
  • Barb hannigan 02:15AM, Nov 15 2011 HI Kayla - Did you use the Vyara Gold with your cherry cabinets? DO you like it?  Barb
  • Barb hannigan 02:14AM, Nov 15 2011 HI Deb - Did you go with the Vyara Gold and do you like it? I also have cherry cabinets and have actually purchased but not installed this granite.  Barb
  • Kathy S 08:21PM, Aug 18 2011 Definitely yay!  Thanks again.
  • Marble.com - Derek 07:01PM, Aug 17 2011 Sounds like a very pretty choice with plenty of movement and rich veins. How do you feel about my backsplash suggestions, yay or nay?
  • Kathy S 06:53PM, Aug 17 2011 Thank you soo much for the suggestions.  The Vyara Juparana granite I am looking at is quite wavy with a lot of blue/gray and nice splash of cranberry/chocolate with of course some cream/gold.
  • Marble.com - Derek 05:08PM, Aug 17 2011 Vyara granite varies considerably between batches, so I'm not sure which selection of Vyara you're going to end up using. From the information I have, perhaps a 2x4 cut Calacatta marble tile could be an appropriate backsplash. For something warmer, take a look at the 2x4 sized Tawny Beige marble mosaic. I've attached images of both suggestions for your review.
  • Kathy S 12:32AM, Aug 16 2011 I have light (natural) maple cabinets, white kitchen aid appliances and tile flooring that is busy.  It  reminds me of being outside.  It is dark taupe, different shades of taupe with even splotches of gray.  It looks like basket weave brick.  I am thinking of replacing my existing white tile countertop with Vyara Juparana granite.  What type of backsplash would you suggest?  Thank you.
  • SuzanneD 09:08PM, Mar 6 2011 Hi! I have honey oak cabinets, light tan tile floor and black appliances. Which granite would look best? I am afraid the grain in cabinets will compete with a lot of stones.
    • All Granite and Marble 10:13AM, Mar 7 2011 SuzanneD: I recommend a calmer color with not a lot of movement for the countertop. My suggestions are Tropical Brown, Butterfly Antique, and Imperial Coffee.
  • Ennar 08:32PM, Oct 23 2010 We have natural color bamboo flooring and cabinets are close to honey oak in color. Would Vyara Gold be a good match with this? Also, can you please suggest a complementary color tile for backsplash? Thanks.
    • All Granite and Marble 10:03AM, Oct 25 2010 Ennar: The Vyara Gold varies very much between slabs, so make sure to see it in-person. I think it will fit your design nicely for a good match. For tiles, I recommend a tumbled botticino marble.
  • Anne 02:51PM, Oct 10 2010 Hi.....we have white cabinets with ash trim, pumpkin colored walls and a medium cherry oak laminate floor. What color granite would you recommend ?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:59AM, Oct 11 2010 Anne: Take a look at Tropical Brown, Baltic Brown, New Venetian Gold.
  • Randy M Baker 08:54AM, Sep 29 2010 We have white cabinets with light oak trim and floor. Can you suggest a good color please ?
    • All Granite and Marble 08:59AM, Sep 29 2010 Randy M Baker: Try Santa Cecilia, Giallo Ornamental, Baltic Brown.
  • Joan 10:07AM, Jul 3 2010 My husband and I are shopping for kitchen counter tops. He selected some that's called "Blue in the Night" and it's black and silver with a hint of royal blue. Do you have anything like this with a hint of purple so I don't have to totally throw out all the purple accents I've recently collected?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:15AM, Jul 5 2010 Joan: Try Black Diamond or Matrix, they have some subtle purple flecks.
  • Carla 04:06PM, Apr 2 2010 I have natural cherry cabinets with black appliances in a dark kitchen. I'm considering white spring and vyara light. what do you think?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:07AM, Apr 3 2010 Carla: I'm leaning towards the White Spring for more contrast.
  • irma reaves 12:35PM, Nov 12 2009 Would vyara gold contrast enough with white cabinets and a nice med.-dark taupe color on my walls, which is a nice contrast to my white cabinets?
    • All Granite and Marble 05:11PM, Nov 12 2009 irma reaves: You should be ok with this. Madura Gold for more contrast.
  • Ann Marie 02:21AM, Jun 20 2009 Sorry, I forgot to mention this...each 20x20 porcelain tile is different. The overall layout appears to have a marbelized look, so it is very busy. I thought the Vyara Gold would compliment the tile since it has such a simple flow to it. Thanks again.
  • Ann Marie 01:44AM, Jun 20 2009 I have medium to dark brown maple cabinets. The floor tile is extremely busy with peach, gray and beige hues. Would Vyara Gold compliment cabinets and floor? I don't want everything to clash. Thanks.
    • All Granite and Marble 11:29AM, Jun 22 2009 Ann Marie: I think it would work quite well. Vyara is a rather tame stone color-wise.
  • Sarah 10:10PM, May 4 2009 I'm going to order this color to go with my light cherry cabinets. We wanted a contrast between cabinet and granite, and this works well. It reminds me of sand blowing in the wind on the beach...
  • terry 05:35PM, Apr 6 2009 hi, anything you can suggest that have some brown and with my maple nutmeg cabinet and offfwhite tiled floor?
    • All Granite and Marble 08:27AM, Apr 7 2009 terry: Take a look at madura gold http://www.marble.com/stone/Madura,Gold,304.html
  • terry 12:17PM, Apr 6 2009 hi, I really like this pattern but would like to know if yo uhave another stone that is darker than Vyara gold. My kitchen is maple with nutmeg color with a large island and off white tiled floor.
    • All Granite and Marble 12:35PM, Apr 6 2009 terry: Unfortunately there is no other stone with similar veins and darker. There are darker stones but they will not have the same look (veins) as Vyara.
  • Marlene 07:18AM, Feb 26 2009 I forgot to mention that my fridg & microwave are white but dishwasher and stove are black. Floor is cream ceramic
  • marlene 07:08AM, Feb 26 2009 Would this color go with Natural Oak cabinets. I am concerned about the wood pattern competing with the movement in the stone?
    • All Granite and Marble 03:15PM, Feb 27 2009 marlene: Well, that is a concern. How is the contrast though? With sufficient contrast, the pattern becomes less of a worry.
  • Teri 03:01PM, Aug 18 2008 How would this color look on a 6'x6' island. In the island is a black wolf cooktop. Will the cook top look like a black eye.
    • All Granite and Marble 04:38PM, Sep 19 2008 Teri: Well it won't blend in, that's certain. I don't think it would be a major drawback. What color is the island itself?
  • Jane 12:06PM, Jun 9 2008 Will this vyara gold be good for honey maple cabinets and santorino tile flooring. I need 100sft. I would like to do full back splash with this granite.
    • All Granite and Marble 12:28PM, Jun 30 2008 Jane: If the cabinets are significantly lighter, then yes, it would work out nice.
  • deb 07:04PM, May 6 2008 I would also like to know if the Viara Gold countertop will match nicely with cherry cabinets. My appliances are cream in color.
    • All Granite and Marble 11:39AM, Jun 6 2008 deb: Should work well. As long as the cabinets are darker than this stone, you will be fine.
  • Beth 09:14PM, Apr 1 2008 How would Vyara Gold countertops pair with a scabos travertine kitchen floor?
    • All Granite and Marble 06:10PM, Apr 4 2008 Beth : They're not too far off from each other. What you should be more concerned about is the cabinetry.
  • Kayla 01:51AM, Jul 1 2007 Would this granite go with the cherry cabinet? Thanks
    • All Granite and Marble 10:35AM, Jul 11 2007 Kayla: Yes, It would do very nicely.
