Sunset Ivory sounds like a fantastic option for your color scheme. Here are some other great options to consider as well:

I am looking for a very light cream color for bathroom counter top. The cabinet will be espresso with light floors with light brown veining (hardwood look porcelain) will sunset ivory meet this objective?

This is an excellent choice. It's a beautiful granite and will complement your accessories very nicely, I would highly suggest this.

Hi. I am looking for a color that would go with our medium wood cabinets and white appliances (help them to blend in a bit) Do you think this would be a good choice? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Hi there. I'm sorry for the late response. The Sunset Ivory is a lovely color that has a light base with warm and subtle highlights throughout the slab. In addition to the Sunset Ivory (which I think is an appropriate choice) you can also contrast the darker elements with countertop choices such as Astoria and the Colonial family of granite's (Colonial Cream, New Colonial Dream). Hope this helps!

I am looking to lighten up our very dark kitchen with new countertops (1 kitchen window over the sink facing nw).  We have hickory cabinets & floor which opens up to a great room with logged walls and a wood ceiling throughout.

Is sunset ivory a good choice?

The New Venetian Gold is a timeless & classic choice that is on the safe side because it's a consistent pattern with overall neutral yet warm color hues. It's an appropriate choice, that's for sure. Another option along those lines you can consider would be Ouro Brasil and Giallo Napoleone.

Hello. My thoughts are that the Sunset Ivory featured on this page is a subtle and neutral granite with a warm, flowing pattern. This type of countertop design would complement the light elements in your kitchen for a complete feel. Another option I recommend to consider is called Astoria. In regard to the floor tile, are there any colors in particular that you've looked at so far that have caught your attention? I recommend to go with a porcelain tile. Hope this helps!

Also looking at New Venetian Gold to go with our white kitchen. Any preferences you have? Thanks again.

We are looking to update our kitchen. We don't want to change everything if we don't have to. So how would this look with white thermofoil cabinets and a white tile backsplash with a tan Greek key accent tile and silver knobs? The accent tile would not be against the counters directly. Right now we have a white over the range microwave and white stove. Thinking of changing just the dishwasher and fridge to stainless when they go. Also will be redoing the floor to tile along with countertops. What are your thoughts? Thank you.

help!!  we are redoing our kitchen with a handscraped dark teak floor and birtch wood cabinets with cinnamon spice stain.

we need to give the kitchen pop as i regret not getting lighter cabinets or lighter floor.

i have been looking for a very creamy (or white with brown tones) to make the kitchen have some excitement.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. if you need a photo i will send.

    thanks, lisa

Great choice! Although there is not much contrast between the wood cabinetry and the countertop decision of Sunset Ivory -- is that deliberate? I would pick a choice such as Arandis Chocolate, although both colors are satisfactory choices. I've created a Comparison Table of these two colors for your easy reference. Please take a look here: Good luck!

I was thinking about this color choice with honey maple cabinets and our wood floors are dark Jacobean stain...what are your thoughts?

  • - Derek 07:07PM, Feb 25 2012

Sunset Ivory is a soft flowing pattern stone with a hint of warmth that would compliment your design elements and wood colors very nicely while creating an efficient contrast. Another option could be Astoria. Hope this helps!

What do you think about this one with black island and perimeter cabinets that are ginger with mocha glaze. Also have med oak floors?

  • - Derek 07:04PM, Oct 27 2011 Wonderful choice, it's a new addition to our ever growing stock of colors. Another similar granite you can check out is Astoria. Good luck!
  • - Kinga 07:38PM, Oct 26 2011 I feel it’s a soft and easy on the eyes combination that is sure to impress. Go for it!
  • Ellen 07:06PM, Oct 26 2011 What do you think of this stone with American Woodmark Maple Charlottesville auburn glaze and black iron hardware and lighting and chairs for the counter?
