No matter how careful you are, etching and staining will occur as this is normal for marble. You can opt to get it with a honed finish to prevent the etching but do expect some scratching and staining. You should seal your countertop every six months and always keep it clean. You can bring samples home and put them to the test! That’s truly the best way to tell and understand what may happen with your countertop. Hope this helps!
CJ, I am wondering if you did decide to go with the Daino Reale for Kitchen countertops? I am dying to know how they came out and how it is holding up a year later. I am at the cusp of deciding on putting in Daino Reale marble for a countertop in a little beach cottage, but very nervous about wear and tear.
If using Daino Reale for a bathroom vanity top and tub surround...I'd like to use an alternate marble tile on the floor....that is a color shade that will compliment the Daino Reale....do you have any recommendations?
