  • Marble.com - Derek 07:55PM, Nov 11 2011 The Dynasty Brown has characteristics of marble that make it unique to this type of stone and it's hard to find in granite. Some granite's with movement that are similar would be Kosmus, Metallic, and Orion. More consistent choices, but with plenty of brown tones are Bahia Brown and Imperial Coffee. Let me know what you think!
  • Doreen C 10:44PM, Nov 10 2011 What are the closest granite matchs to this marble? I want dark/ brown/ and veining (if possible)
  • Marble.com - Derek 06:22PM, Sep 7 2011 I'm not familiar with the alternative name you've mentioned as a different name for Dynasty Brown, but it may very well be so, as different fabricators give stones their own name. Unfortunately, we do not have finished countertop pictures of this stone, sorry. We have full slabs for you to view and free samples you can take home with you in all of our locations except for Deer Park, NY: www.marble.com/locations Hope this helps.
  • Janine Hogan 03:33PM, Sep 5 2011 Is dynasty Brown another name for St Croix Brown and do you have finishing pieces,  baseboard ogee edge chair rail etc.
  • Marble.com - Derek 01:34PM, Jul 15 2011 Technically, marble is heat resistant. The heat from the hot object may not burn the actual marble core of the sealed countertop, but the heat of the object could cause the marble in the countertop to change color permanently. The area where the hot object was placed may become significantly darker than the surrounding marble, effectively ruining the appearance your countertop. Are you considering using marble in the kitchen?
  • jane 07:11PM, Jul 14 2011 can you put hot pots and dishes on marble without harm?
