Marble.com - Derek 09:36PM, Feb 7 2012 We do not really recommend Emperador Light as a kitchen countertop surface because it's marble. This type of stone is naturally quite porous, brittle, and soft. For a darker option such as this in granite, take a look at Imperial Coffee and Bahia Brown.
