  Hello there. I'm sorry for the late response. We do not sell backsplash tiles, we specialize in countertop fabrication and installation. We do have Thassos marble in-stock (at our Ridgefield Park NJ facility) but it's in 3/4" slabs used for counters. I do recommend it for a backsplash as it's extremely elegant albeit expensive (for premium quality Thassos). You would have to remember to seal these natural stone tiles which will help prevent staining.

  Not sure if you are still active online.  I'm looking for 3x6 subway tile in thassos.  I received a shipment of glassos that had a green tint to it.  Seems like nobody can produce white glassos.  Anyway, do you know where I can get thassos in stock in the dc area.  Do you recommend it for a backsplash?

We can provide you with an educated guess which would not offer you a definite answer. You may want to contact the place where you are purchasing your mosaic from to confirm what type of stone is used. You probably can find 3x8 tile but again, tile suppliers would be of better assistance than granite fabricators. I hope this helps!
• Derrick Roberts 10:54PM, Oct 16 2011 We are finalizing our choices for a tile backsplash and have decided on Mirage Jewel J-603 as the "bling" and believe that the white tiles in that mozaic are Thassos marble.  Can someone confirm?  We really think 3"x8" of that white stone tile would be amazing field tiles.  Where can we find Thassos marble tiles in 3x8?
• Marble.com - Derek 01:21PM, Sep 1 2011 White Thassos is a marble and it's soft, therefore it's better for a low traffic area that does not have many liquids spilled on it. So in a short answer, no it's not a suitable material for a dining top table. Have you considered artificial quartz? Take a look at Caesarstone 'Pure White' and 'Blizzard'. These colors have the characteristics of this Thassos marble that you're attracted to. It could also be available in your area as Caesarstone line of quartz is an international company. We do not service Singapore. Good luck!

Granite is generally a better option to use because it’s much more durable and requires less maintenance. Unfortunately, we do not ship our stones. However, if you are ever in the area, we can fabricate it for you as a pick-up order.
