Melinda, not at all. Not to worry you will be fine.
I was thinking about a small slab of Onyx or Marble for a refurbished desk top. Do you think there could be an issue with the heat from my laptop? Thanks, Melinda
Hello. For a price on a small project, please contact the closest sales office to you with the measurements that you require: www.marble.com/contact Please note that this would be a pick-up order (without delivery or installation) because of the size. Thanks!
I am doing a tiled shower and need about a 18x18 piece ofhoney onyx to fabricate a seat similar to the image attached. Where could I go to find a remnant and whatwould something like that cost? Thanks Rob
Hello. It's practical to use Honey Onyx stone as a tabletop application. If it was for a kitchen countertop, I would have a different opinion because of all the oils, juices, and potential staining agents used in cooking, cleaning, ect. However, for a tabletop, you should be fine because generally a tabletop is not a work surface / area. I still recommend to seal the stone to help keep it stain resistant as onyx is naturally porous. Hope this helps!
could one use honey onyx as a tabletop? or not practical?
