  • Marble.com - Kinga 11:10AM, Aug 30 2011 You can use it as a tabletop but you have to be careful when using it as it can stain. Granite is generally a better option to use because it’s much more durable and requires less maintenance. Unfortunately, we do not ship our stones. However, if you are ever in the area, we can fabricate it for you as a pick-up order.
  • MW 06:55PM, Aug 27 2011 Is this suitable to be used as a dining table top? Assuming i want it in L180 x D90 x W6-8 cm. If not, what will you recommend for something as white as this?

And also, can you ship to Singapore? what's the estimated shipping cost and time.
  • Karen 12:29PM, Feb 11 2011 Thanks - that information was very helpful - is there a granite you would recommend - my floor tile is ivory with hints of light green and blue and then i have translucent light blue and green tile covering a large shower as well as decorative accents and I'm having difficulty choosing a granite that would work with that combo and a dark expresso cabinet.

  • Karen 11:44AM, Feb 11 2011 I'm looknig at both granite and onyx but am curious about durability for a vanity top as well as the potential price differences between the two - can you advise me on which one is usually most expensive - also I'm going to your South Plainfield location this weekend - do they carry onyx, specifically this slab or something close to it?
    • All Granite and Marble 12:18PM, Feb 11 2011 Karen: South Plainfield, NJ facility carries this particular color of onyx. Onyx is usually used as a bartop, and lit up from the back because it's translucent. It's pretty fragile, if your bathroom is a high traffic area you would have to be careful. In addition, it's a premium stone that is more expensive than granite. Granite is very durable and has many different colors.
