sasha: I'd go darker, try Ubatuba or Absolute Black. Very sleek and modern.

What color cabinets are those? I just picked out some options for my new home and chose the tropical brown granite with nutmeg stained oak cabinets. I'm trying to find a picture so I can see it as a "whole"

Erin: Your guess is as good as mine, unfortunately I just have information on the granite used.

Thank you for the suggestion, but my cabinets are more cherry finish. Do you think Tan brown or Coffee brown would be better choice then desert rose or rosewood?
All Granite and Marble08:46AM, Apr 23 2010
Anna: Out of the two, i'm leaning towards Tan Brown, it has red highlights to compliment the cherry, and is very elegant. Coffee Brown has too much reds, and will clash. The Rosewood granite is also an excellent choice, it has rich veining and would make the countertop the center piece of your design.

We in process of remodeling our kitchen. Our cabinets are mocha glazed finish. Honey oak hard wood floors and everything in the house is brow or coffe brown. Will Deser Rose will be to red, New colonial dream. Also what would you recomand

Anna: It'd go darker. Try Butterfly Antique.

We have started remodelling our kitchen, which has Oak cabinets, very similar to shown in this picture. We are going put tiles (light brown with some golden) on floor. Do think this granite would look good? or Emerald Green/Blue?
Ritu02:59PM, Jun 25 2009
Which color is this?

Ritu: This is Tropical Brown. Emerald Pearl would definitely give you more contrast but also make the kitchen much darker. If you have enough light to support the darker stone, that would be my choice.
