Unfortunately I do not know off hand who has Cosmic Black your area. You can fill out an estimate request here: www.marble.com/estimate and specify you're looking for Cosmic Black. An affiliated local fabricator in your area then will hopefully contact you with additional information. Good luck!

Thank you for your prompt reply.  I really do like Cosmic Black but I don't live in the Ct., NJ Pa area.
I'm in Maryland.  Do you know of any granite places here that have Cosmic Black in their supplies??
I would like to see it in person before I seriously consider it.  Thanks again for your help.

We have free samples available for pick-up at any of our locations as well as full slabs of the stone you can view. We have Cosmic Black in-stock available at our Ridgefield Park, NJ and Deer Park, NY locations: www.marble.com/locations

I think a dark and elegant stone with some movement such as Cosmic Black would look stunning in your set-up. Another option I recommend would be Kosmus, or Brown Alpine for more veining. Hope this helps!

WHAT GRANITES WOULD YOU SUGGEST.  THANKS

  • Marble.com - Derek 07:17PM, Feb 1 2012 Granite overall is very scratch resistant, it's the hardest rock known to nature, and it will dull a knife because it's able to scratch the stone. However, some granite's are more prone to damage such as scratches than others. I'm not familiar with Cosmic Black being in this category, but what you should do is acquire a sample and test it out for yourself.
  • Morg37 07:57PM, Jan 29 2012 i heard that  granite with the name cosmic or cosmos scratches easily,  do you know is this true true?
  • Marble.com - Derek 02:42PM, Jun 11 2011 The stone used here is Cosmic Black granite. We unfortunately do not have information on the cabinet color.
