I love this counter top. What is the code for this top? I looked up tiger skin on the granite listing on this site and it wasn't found.
All Granite and Marble10:08AM, Jun 14 2010
Tony: It's no longer in-stock. Some similar stones are Hurricane, Golden Noir and Ouro Fantastico.

We have rustic cherry cabinets-fruitwood stain with black glaze, light oak floor, large island and a red/rust brick fireplace in the room. we are thinking about something like this granite for at least the island, or a red malibu. Too bold? Any suggestions?
All Granite and Marble09:54AM, Jan 4 2010
jenny: Bold is good :-) If you are afraid that it's too busy, using this for the island but going with a calmer, toned down granite for the perimeter is a good idea.
James11:16PM, Dec 8 2009
Hello, why is the granite name in photo 162/272. That sure is a wonderful color countertop. Thanks
All Granite and Marble08:53AM, Dec 9 2009
James: Tiger Skin!
All Granite and Marble11:59AM, Aug 10 2009
Amy: Go with something simple - light subway tile.
Cindy06:00PM, Aug 9 2009
I am remodeling my kitchen with hazelnut maple cabinets. Would Tiger Skin be a good color choice?
All Granite and Marble12:01PM, Aug 10 2009
Cindy: It would be wonderful! Very rich color.
MR04:12PM, May 4 2009
I have light wood cabinets (natural maple) and light wood (honey oak) floors. The wall is currently a pale butter (open to change). Will the Tiger skin look good on my countertop? What would be a good color for backsplash?
All Granite and Marble12:34PM, May 6 2009
MR: It's a near perfect fit. The base colors here are light yellows and grays while the pattern is a rich brown and black. That combination ties the countertop to the wood while keeping a lot of pleasant contrast. As for the backsplash, one option would be to use travertine tile as pictured above.
Jane11:22PM, Apr 18 2009
We have natural oak cabinets and a white oak floor with natural stain; appliances are black and trim and wainscoting are white (haven't chosen backsplash or wall color yet). Trying to decide between something like this tiger skin (black and gold, or something really strong like Labradorite Astral) and something warm and light, like colonial cream. Any suggestions?
All Granite and Marble09:05AM, Apr 20 2009
Jane: Tiger Skin is pretty strong in my opinion. All stones you mention are good options. If you do commit to one of the strong patterns, make sure you really like it because changing the design might be tougher later down the road.
Ramona03:01PM, Apr 15 2009
I have builders grade Oak cabinets and golden oak floors (a lot of oak everywhere). Woudld super classico granite look good with this or should I stick with black and something like mascarlleo for the island?
All Granite and Marble04:42PM, Apr 15 2009
Ramona: Take a look at Zeus. It has a similar look to Mascarello but it's a lighter version.
jesse07:40PM, Apr 1 2009

All Granite and Marble02:22PM, Apr 3 2009

Cathy11:03PM, Jun 16 2008
I love the Tiger Skin.
We have ash cabinets and a Terra Cotta ceramic tile on the floor. Also have a large island in center. Do you think the Tiger skin will look good?
All Granite and Marble02:03PM, Jul 8 2008
Cathy: Might get a bit busy there, but if you don't mind it, it would be a very interesting kitchen.
nancy09:09PM, Apr 18 2008
I am looking at the kitchen gallery pictures and #86/196 has no name. Can you idenify this please? Thank u
All Granite and Marble03:40PM, May 19 2008

David01:23PM, Mar 10 2008
I can not find Tiger Skin in you stone list. Can you help me
All Granite and Marble10:00AM, Mar 11 2008
David: Our stone list is not complete. It only shows stones which we have photographed. We will get to the rest of them eventually, but it takes time (and good lighting conditions).
marsha06:13PM, Jan 3 2008
thanks for getting back to me. also looking at a minsk with some definite movement. better yet do you think?
marsha03:49PM, Jan 1 2008
looking at similar--called juparana dream.
any ideas for color for cabs & floors would be appreciated
will have a 16 ft counter run. 5x6 center island. 9x3 island bar separates kitchen from great room . only existing element is river rock fireplace in study off great room. can see from kitchen. 20ft ceilings and windows everywhere.
All Granite and Marble12:32PM, Jan 3 2008
marsha: From your description, you should probably go with a busy pattern. Both stones will work here. I'm more partial to the Juparana, mainly because it hints some grey in it, which will tie well with the fireplace.
Kari10:12PM, Dec 17 2007
Is there any other name other than Tiger Skin for this stone? I'm having a hard time finding it by this name.
All Granite and Marble10:39AM, Dec 22 2007
Kari: It probably does have another name, but we're not aware of it. We use the names supplied by the quarry.
Brian02:26AM, Dec 13 2007
I have natural character cherry cabinets with a mocha glaze for the outer cabinets and ivory cabinets with a mocha glaze on the lsland. how about tiger skin tops with tigerwood flooring...any opinions??? thank you very much
All Granite and Marble08:32AM, Dec 13 2007
Brian: That would certainly be a stunning combination, especially on the island.
Gina01:05AM, Nov 13 2007
What other colors do you suggest for the multicolor slate floor and cherry cabinets...? Our kitchen is quite large so there's plenty of light...
All Granite and Marble09:46AM, Nov 14 2007
Gina: If your cabinets are dark, then I would try a lighter color, like Juparana Golden Vyara. It has a very elegant, yet interesting look to it.
blm11:52AM, Oct 4 2007

we have pearl stain oak cabniets w/ floor in a taupe color ceramic tile. will Tiger Skin be a good choice for kitchen countertops?
All Granite and Marble08:48AM, Oct 1 2007
blm: I think that's a nice combination.
Gina11:32PM, Sep 10 2007
I have Cherry wood cabinets... The exact color is Autumn blush... Our tile in the kitchen is Multicolor slate... What do you think of the Tiger Skin countertop? Do you think it would match good with the cabinets and slate floor?
All Granite and Marble03:02PM, Sep 12 2007
Gina: It should be ok. I'm just worried that with the multicolored tiles it might get busy in there.
Ann10:06PM, Jul 29 2007
We have a fairly large kitchen with ash cabinets and 95 square foot of countertop. Will the Tiger Skin be a good fit? Also, please give us the name of a few that will look good. We like the ones with some quartz like the Juparana Persa. Thanks!
All Granite and Marble09:53AM, Aug 11 2007
Ann: I think you're on the right track. Give me more info on the colors of your kitchen.
Lorie04:05PM, Jul 28 2007
How would The Tiger Skin, Giallo look with knotty alder cabinets & hickory floors? Any other suggestions?
All Granite and Marble01:38PM, Aug 2 2007
Lorie: It would look very good. It's a premium stone and has a very organic natural look with all the vaining and pattern.
All Granite and Marble12:32PM, Apr 10 2007
Not too bad :)
brittany11:35PM, Apr 7 2007

How tall is the granite backsplash? I am going to install granite in my kitchen but not sure how tall the granite should run. Thank you! This granite is beautiful
All Granite and Marble01:59PM, Apr 2 2007
Never heard of it.
Pei11:07PM, Mar 31 2007
This stone is incredible! I saw something similar, the fabricator called it Giallo Super Classico. Is it the same? Does Giallo Super Classico even exist? Can't seem to find it. Thoughts?

What is the name of the stone on the floor?
All Granite and Marble12:26PM, Jan 16 2007
