how do u get the stain out like grease

  • Linda 09:06AM, Jul 10 2010 I am remodeling my kitchen. Which granite would go well with chestnut stained oak cabinets? By the way, I love your website!
    • All Granite and Marble 09:00AM, Jul 12 2010 Linda: Do you like a more consistent pattern or rich veining in your granite?
  • Stephanie 08:40PM, Jan 31 2010 I love the seaweed green in this kitchen. How would you describe this cabinet color/wood? Do you think this combo would be too dark in a kitchen that doesn't get much natural light? Thanks
    • All Granite and Marble 03:46PM, Feb 1 2010 Stephanie: I don't know what kind of wood was used on this kitchen, we only installed the countertop. If you do not have natural sunlight in your kitchen, then strategically placed recessed lights should be used and you will be fine.
  • emily 12:46AM, Mar 22 2009 I have a cherry wood cabnets. I like this seaweed color a lot. Do you think this color would go well with my cherry wood cabinets. Can anyone suggest me a few choices of granites that would go well with cherry wood? Thanks..
    • All Granite and Marble 10:22AM, Mar 25 2009 emily: Before you take on greens, try golds. They are usually much easier to design with in a cherry kitchen.
  • Donna 02:59PM, Dec 10 2008 What are the little wooden things called that support the granite breakfast bar? Do you sell those too?
    • All Granite and Marble 04:14PM, Dec 10 2008 Donna: Corbels. No, we don't sell these.
  • Peter 01:43PM, Oct 23 2008 The color of our cabinets is similar with the one in this picture. Do you think Blue Pearl countertop would is the good idea? if not, which one should we use and what color or tiles for backsplash and kitchen floor. Your suggestion would be very helpful. Thanks.
    • All Granite and Marble 10:39AM, Nov 19 2008 Peter: I suspect that the red in the cabinets would clash rather badly with the blue. Golds, greens and reds will work better.
  • Kathy 10:39AM, Mar 19 2008 Is the granite listed as 356 platinum similar in look to this seaweed green?
    • All Granite and Marble 11:35AM, Apr 4 2008 Kathy: Totally different stones.
  • Kathy 10:23AM, Mar 19 2008 This stone is beautiful. I was at the stroudsburg yard this past weekend and they said this is no longer available. I see New seaweed green listed #328. Is this the same? Thank you.
    • All Granite and Marble 11:34AM, Apr 4 2008 Kathy: Any availability questions should be verified with our sales office.
  • Julia 12:55PM, Feb 11 2008 I have maple cabinets with a cherry glaze and am trying to pick a countertop. The backsplash is very similar to the one pictured here. Would ubatuba look good? What other suggestions would you have?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:37AM, Feb 15 2008 Julia: Yes. I would try to pick a warm version of Ubatuba. Something with more gold and brown.
  • Susan Tisdale 09:31AM, Dec 28 2007 I absolutely love the granite called Seaweed Green. I'm in the process of remodeling my kitchen countertops with granite. Could you please let me know if it is possible for me to get the Seaweed Green close to my area. I live in South Louisiana near New Orleans.
    • All Granite and Marble 12:12PM, Jan 3 2008 Susan Tisdale: We can't really help you much. Ask around your local stone suppliers and fabricators. Seaweed Green isn't really exotic, so you should be able to find it.
  • Mary 05:50PM, Oct 3 2007 I selected Giallo Vaneziano with briarwood cherry cabinets. I tried to search online to see what that would look like. The slab we saw looks more pink than the sample we saw. Do you have any idea how the countertops will match the cabinets and where I could see a picture of what to expect?
    • All Granite and Marble 11:27AM, Oct 8 2007 Mary: It's a good combination. You might want to try the Stone Selection Tool to help you visualize it.
  • anna 03:44AM, Jun 25 2007 Would tropic tan, giallo veneziano, or another color granite go well with cherry paprika cabinets?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:26AM, Jul 11 2007 anna: Giallo Veneziano is a very good option with cherry paprika cabinets.
  • All Granite and Marble 10:01AM, Apr 27 2007 There are a lot of granite colors that have some grey in them.. If you're not afraid of strong movement, consider Yellow River.
