I love this marble - but am shopping for kitchen countertops and no marble is not the best choice. What granite most closely resembles this marble? |

maureen: My choice would be the Crema Marfil. Nice, soft appearance and should compliment the red in the cherry wood much better than Calcutta Gold. Should bring some warmth to the room. |

Hello. I am in the process of choosing bath vanity countertops. The bathroom is a medium size with one smallish window. The vanity is 60 inches and is a medium stained cherry (reddish tint. We inherited ceramic floor tiles. They are white with a barely there pink and grey clouding; no veining. I want marble countertops, not granite. My options are limited as I am choosing from remnants. I have an option of a 3cm Calcutta Gold that looks very much like the lot here. I also have the option of a Crema Marfil. What would you recommend? |

Maureen: Standard is 2cm but 3cm is absolutely fine. It's a matter of preference. |
