Lori: Both are good choices. Excellent contrast. Tropical Brown is a safe bet because it's more neutral than the reddish Castor Imperiale. Once you commit to a definitive color such as red, you may have to arrange the rest of the room around it.

Would this look good with a lighter maple cabinet? I'm also looking at Tropical Brown. I have hard wood floors too.
