paula demaio: Yes -- it is extremely easy, you buy a water based sealant at a home improvement store and apply it every six months, directions will be on bottle. |

How would I seal the marble? Is this something I could do personally with a product that is sold to the consumer? |

Paula DeMaio: Marble stains, if you make sure it is sealed every six months you should be alright as no acidic chemicals or hot oils will be placed on the surface. |

I am thinking of using French Vanilla marble in all my new bathrooms (4). Does toothpaste and such stain easily? |

Pagie: I would not recommend marble for moderate and extensive cooking. It really does stain very easily. |

Pagie: Do they cook at all? If so, that pretty white marble will have stains all over in no time. |

My son and son in law would like to buy French Vanilla but Im worried their kitchen would be to white. They have white cabinets, white subway tile back splash and white tile floors. Any suggestions? |
