We're doing Biscotti perimeter cabinets and a black onyx (on cherry) with a rub-through on the island. Would Giallo Vicenza look good? I think it would tie the two pieces together. (Floors are Brazilian cherry) Would it be better to go with a black granite on both pieces? |

Trudy: Baltic Brown is a tad less yellow/orange. |

Thanks for the reply. We looked @ both of them, but our designer thought they were too yellow. I'm worried this one is too, although I don't really see yellow in it. Too brown?. Our first choice was Golden Crystal, but I don't see it on your web site. I don't know if it goes by another name. It is quite more expensive. |

Hello--we are still looking for granite. We have medium/dark cherry cabinets with a slight red tone, & bisque/biscuit appliances. When we went to the granite yard, this was one of the granites the salesgirl showed us. We liked it, but not a well as our first choice. This one is considerably less expensive. Do you think it will go with our cabinets & appliances? We are having a very hard time finding anything. We would be grateful for ANY suggestions. |

CAROLINE: The granite yard lot numbers and marble.com stone ID's do not match, therefore you must contact the South Plainfield sales office to find out the stone ID and name of the samples you brought home. |

I visited your Plainfield store & came home with about 10 granite samples. We have maple cabinets with a coffee glaze. Online I like Giallo Vincenza but I am confused because the numbers on the granite samples I brought home are: 3516, A1L, 3406L, B19L, etc. How do I find out the \"names\" so I can view them online? |

Jess: Giallo will have a bit more contrast and therefore would look "sharper" than cecilia. |

I have cherry cabinets (autumn blush) and I'm not sure what color would look better. Santa cecilia or giallo vicenza...I need help! |

JH: Looks good to me. Perhaps other stones from this family will work for you as well. |

I'm getting white cabinets with a chocolate glaze and a brown floor. I'm looking for more of a country look and thinking about giallo vincenza. What do you think? Do you have any other suggestions? |

I am interested in the Giallo Vicenza and the Vicenza, can you tell me what the difference is? |

Ev: Try different stones from the Giallo family. |

I like this stone but think it may look too orange with my older honey oak cabinets. We have sample at home and it seems the orange color is poppig out at me. Not sure if it is just the particular sample or if there are slabs that are more brown. Any thoughts? Thanks. |

The tile back splash and floors in our new kitchen will be a light tan. The adjoining living room will have medium brown (heritage) floors. Which granite counter top will look best in our kitchen? The New Venetian Gold or the Giallo Vicenza? I like the contrast the New Venetian Gold provides, but it's not as rich as the Giallo Vicenza. Thoughts? |

Lori: I too think that this might look a bit too "commercial". Perhaps you could try stones with a more organic pattern? |

I have 20X13 L peninsula kitchen, travertine villa pattern floors, cappucino stain shaker cherry cabinets. I love this granite but am worried it will be lost on the cherry. Also saw it on bank outdoor walls in NYC so maybe too industrial? Any suggestions are welcome!! |

MD: You can use a similar tile but in small squares (4"). You can always go for tumbled marble or travertine ones as well. |

This is the stone chosen for the countertops in the kitchen with golden oak cabinetry. What type of backsplash should we use with this stone. On the kitchen floor we have porcelin tile that looks like a natural stone unfinished |
