Jill: Colombo is full of life! The veining is beautiful, but make sure to put a sample of the cabinets against the slab your going to use, as different batches may look quite different.

I have dark hardwood floors and golden oak cabinets in a medium size kitchen with no window. My backspash is a charcoal slate with rust and red and gold. I love muted colors in my farmhouse kitchen. Would you suggest this countertop? Is it too dark with no life?

Linda: Overall a good color scheme. The walls would have to give way to the countertops though. Perhaps you can use a pale shade of the glaze found on the cabinets?

I have selected Juparana Columbo granite for the countertops, canvas cabinets with mocha glaze and want Brazilian cherry floors. What do you think of that combination? If that works, then what color walls would be good? My kitchen windows are east-facing. Thanks
