I am really interested in this stone. Would you recommend 2-3 more granites for me to compare with? We want to create a little contemporary feeling. It's a 12x12 kitchen/island which opens to living room. I don't want strong black. Thanks!

We have bamboo natural (light yellow) floor and fawn maple cabinets, and might use travertine or slate backsplash. I am thinking using Juparana Vyara or New Venitian, or Giallo Ornament countertop. I want to use contemporary style lighting. Which granite do you recommend?

We were considering the Vyara Gold until husband saw the Juparana Vyara slab and just had to have it. So everyone is trying to convince me that its a good choice. Will this color be ok in our small kitchen 12 X 12, with Kraftmaid Autumn Blush cabinetry? The floor will be Best Tile's porcelain oxide iron tile and back splash lighter colored beige/cream stone tile. Plan on repainting kitchen, but haven't decided on a color. I'm told that we are getting a great deal on the granite since this is a more costly piece. What's the average price/sq ft? Thanks in advance.
