jennifer: The batch of Madura Gold going around right now looks more like stone ID 306. With that being said, I'm leaning towards the Golden Oak, it will compliment the cognac cabinets nicely. |

Is Madura Gold or Golden Oak suitable for Dark Cognac Maple cabinets? The floors are light bronze ceramic. Also would brass or bronze pull handles on cabinet doors match well with everything? |

Kathy M: Yes -- you need contrast in your design, Madura Gold would work great. |

Our cabinets are dove white, white tile floors with some beige highlights. Is this too light for the countertops? The adjoining family room has medium brown pine cabinets, not putting granite there... just the wood. Would a darker Madura Gold work better? |

nicole: Choosing the right granite can be quite difficult sometimes :-) I think Madura Gold would be fine, plenty of contrast between the cabinets, would be a very warm look. |

I have dark cherry wood cabinets with hard wood floors (oak?) throughout the house. The kitchen is in one big great room with a den with warm colors. The walls are soft yellow/gold. Do you think this will go well? There is so much color going on - the dark cabinets, the wood floors, the other room its so hard to choose this!!! |

Michelle: This particular Madura Gold is a bit too soft in appearance to work with Honey Oak cabinets. One with a very strong veining will be better. |

Would this stone go well with honey oak cabinets? |

Deanna: No, definately not. Stones from India are of excellent quality. The difference is rather in certian colors and styles that are only available from India or Brazil. |

Is stone of lessor quality coming from India rather than Brazil? |
