Corinne: It is marble therefore we do not recommend it for a kitchen because it will scratch and stain overtime, even if you are careful.

Hi:This is a beautiful piece of stone and I think it would go great with the tile & cabinets I've picked for my new Kitchen. I notice that Kitchen is not listed as one of the applications. Can it be used for a countertop? If so what type of maintenace would it need? Thank you
