Donna: What I meant was that using Tobacco would make it challenging to add another color, so black would be a viable neutral option.

Do you mean not to use tobacco at all & just use black granite? The kitchen, dining room & great room is a huge open space. Thanks for your imput I appriciate it, Donna

Donna: Your design has a lot of elements to it. My recommendation would be to keep it simple. Perhaps just a black would do?

I'd like to use "Tobacco" on two islands (1 big, 1 smaller)in the kitchen, then there's the counter space & wet bar? I'm getting stuck on another color coice for this decision. The cabintry is cherry & there's a lot of river rock throughout kitchen & house.

I'm thinking about Tobacco for a medium u shaped kitchen w/maple cabinets, and a light beige, peach floor, will it work?

Cheryl: Well, Rosa Zarci is a marble so that pretty much rules it out for any type of kitchen top. It seems like you're doing very well with the selection process :)

Tobacco looks like an option. I have it written down as a possible for somewhere in our home. Maybe the threatre room counters. Here's another option, I think, what about rose Zarci for the kitchen island? Also, any suggestions for the other kitchen countertops? Thanks for your help. This comment box really works!
