Judy: With your cabinets a dark countertop will look more classy and warm, a light color will brighten up your area though.

Would it be better to do dark vs light countertops? Use undercabinet lighting most of the time. Thanks much for your help.

No natural light in kitchen. Cabinets are golden oak and new island is cream with chocolate glaze. Really like Ubatuba #761 but afraid it may be too dark. Kitchen open to dinning/living room area. Also like some St. Cecilia and Giallo Ornamental (might be too light) - suggestions please.
