Nicole: It would work to some degree. The stone is very dark and that will guarantee you the contrast. There is one issue however. The stone is green. I'm worried that with spice hardwood floors and Honey Oak cabinets, there might be some reddish hues in the woods and that might clash a bit with the green. But if you're in doubt, get a sample of the stone and bring it home.
